Jacoby&Pronk in Riga
Dutch dancers Drew Jacoby and Rubinald Pronk will perform in the Gala concert “World Ballet Stars” of the 17th International Ballet Festival in Latvian National Opera on 30 April. They will bring to Riga their performances “One” and “La Pluie”. Tickets online: www.bilesuparadize.lv.

Floriade 2012
After ten years the gates of the spectacular theatre of nature are due to open again. Floriade 2012 will take place from April 5th until October 11th in the stunning park in Venlo, the Netherlands.

Exhibition of Hendrik Valk in Riga
The life of the Dutch artist Hendrik Valk is connected with Latvia. Exhibition of his artworks will be on display in the Art Museum Riga Bourse from 4 April until 4 June 2012, introducing visitors to the Dutch avant-garde art of the 20th century and to connection of the work of Valk with De Stijl artistic movement.

The Netherlands in the yearly education fair in Riga
The Holland Education Support Centre (HESC) will be present on 1-4 March at the 18th International Education fair Skola in Kipsala exhibition centre, Riga. At the HESC stand Latvian students can learn about the excellent studying possibilities in the universities of the Netherlands, which offer more than 1500 programmes taught in English.

Netherlands Embassy visits Daugavpils
On 7 February 2012 a delegation of the Netherlands' Embassy, headed by the Ambassador H. E. Mr. J. Kraak, will visit Daugavpils. The Ambassador and his team will learn about developments in Daugavpils and will discuss possibilities for strengthening trade, investment and cultural ties with the Netherlands.
